Wireless - He's So Proud

Format: Single
Release Date: 2nd Jun 2008
Label: Redemption Records
Rating:

The Wireless release this limited edition 7" as another part of their steady rise from the underground to the mainstream.

The track 'He's So Proud' is catchy and full of the bullish masculinity that made the Libertines and Kaiser Chiefs a favourite with both sexes.Only just old enough to legally drink the promise that is shown in their pop leaning, punk influenced rock is staggering. Their main problem on this showing is a lack of originality. The track is good but in 3 years time will blur into the 1000's of similar dittys that have been released by 'The' bands in 2007/8.

With a little more originality and hard work this band will come up with an album and singles of genuine quality. So it might be worth your while investing in this 7" while The Wireless are still underground.
